Besides being a traditional product of club-type organizations, a constitution is a must for any organization seeking official University recognition. There prob- ably should be some thought given to just how formalized (or informalized) we want to be, and how seriously we would take a constitution, assuming we made one. The University expects a rather formal and standardized one. Official University recognition would be desirable for its status, access to University duplicating equipment, wider distribution of adver- tising, and access to more suitable meeting rooms. Liabilities would possibly be excessive formalizing of MinnStf's structure and the innate restrictions of working within the structure of University student organ- izations. _Meetings_ will be discussed because of the suggestions of some of the members. They are asking for a bit more structure in future meetings, not to the exclusion of socializing, but in the interest of making MinnStf more of an organization. Perhaps best discussed under the general heading of 'Scheduling', suggestions have been given for regular Business Meetings, book reviews, panel discussions, and the possibility of alternate meeting places to Mechanical Enginnering 4. A brain-stoming session to find a _new name for the NEWSLETTER_ will probably occur at the May 11th meeting: Some possibilities: _Rettelswen_; _Aphelion_; _Mooseletter_; _Snarf_; _MiSFIBuP_; _Lewsnetter_; _The Frostbite Falls_ _Gazette_; and a host of others. Come and participate. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PVT. E-1 JOHN F. KUSSKE, JR. STILL IN ARMY Yes he is. However, mail is being forwarded to him and he has been writing to local people. SOme of his letters will be at this month's meet- ings with his mailing address exposed to public inspection. Pooooor Kusske. What will he do with all the letters that he will get? Other than read them? John's latest genzine ( or genzapazine, if you prefer), _Mantrap_ 9, is 90% complete. John will be finishing up the writing for the last few pages that remain while at basic training, and several of the local publishing- type-fans will finish printing and collating it for him. The finished _Mantraps_ will be distributed through _APA45_, _SAPS_, and Kusske's agents in the Twin Cities. It's a good zine. 15th MAILING of APA45 DISTRIBUTED Ken Fletcher, Temporary Official Editor of _APA45_, says that this April's Mailing is one of the best in the history of the quarterly apa. Ken the Fletcher was appointed by John Kusske to fill out the remainder of Kusske's term as Official Editor, once Kusske joined the Army. _APA45_ is an Amateur Publishing Association (apa) composed of 20 members, all born after the 1st of January, 1945. Each member contrib- utes copies of an amateur publication to the apa. The zines are assembled and distributed by the Official Editor in a 'mailing'. Those who attend the Minnstf meeting at Ken Fletcher's home will have an opportunity to browse through some of his apa mailings. Cheap Thrills. EXTRAS! EXTRAS! Some of the local members of _APA45_ probably have extra copies of their 'apazines'. Local people can probably get copies free at the meetings.
