MNStF board meeting, Sunday March 15, 2026, 7pm, by videoconference. Attending board members: Scott Raun, Matt Strait (recording), Linda Lounsbury, Hershey Harris, David Dyer-Bennet == Ratify approval of previous meeting's minutes == Delia, Hershey, Matt and Linda approved by e-mail. Ratified! == Review TODO list == The remaining TODO list is: * (2026-01) Scott will work with Irene to get her and Drew to Blaze to open a new main MNSTF account. Drew has been active in trying to set this up. Scott has asked him to talk to Irene. Progress is being made. * (2026-01) Scott will ask Carol for a semi-annual report. This got missed. Scott will re-ask her. * (2026-02) We also need to remember to get the US Bank account closed. No action on this needed yet. * (2025-06) Scott will look to see if we still own unused ISBN numbers. We have eight. Scott needs to track down exactly what the numbers are. We bought 10 (a long long time ago) and used two, but we're not sure which one we used for Time Frames. Ah, Matt was confused between Time Gum and Time Frames. He has the latter, but not the former in the archives. He pulled out the copy and now we know. * (2026-02) Delia will pass directory information to Scott. Scott believes he has this as a Google Doc, but will check into it. DONE: * (2025-05) Scott will ask Carol if the books are balanced for 5/31/2025, 6/30/2025 and 7/31/2025. Is 5/31 discrepancy found? And ask for our bank account balances. Balance is $1500. Account is reconciled through 12/31/2025. Still $100 off, but this is likely an error or uncashed check from over a year ago, and can be written off. * (2026-02) Matt will let President Sharon know her budget for 2026 (calendar year). Done, and she expressed appreciation. == Review recurring task list == Hopefully we have Drew on a new checking account at Blaze. He should soon report if it is balanced for the month. Hopefully the US Bank account is closed; if not, is it balanced? In April, we should get our bank and investment account balances. Matt will ask Aaron in April. In May, Scott should do the taxes and Secretary of State things. == Finances == Treasurer Drew needs to know to pay the storage locker and PO box. He'll need to switch the payment method for the PO box. We should ask Blaze to require that big checks have two signatures. Should we? That's our own policy, so it is up to us to set it. Yes, we think we should still require this. Let's set the limit to $500. Scott will communicate this policy to Drew and make sure it gets discussed with the bank. == Officer appointments/reappointments == Here is the current list of officers with annotations.
